So I am holed up at the Canary Wharf all week..

because a client does not like technology, and prefers to do business the old fashioned way...face-to-face

I'm still jet-lagged,will miss most of the DNC coverage, and being ridiculed by a bunch of British blokes as to why we have people like Palin, Romney run for President

Meanwhile, the client left message he will have to cancel on our breakfast meeting tomorrow ...on another note, it was a really hot day - as British Summers get, and another hot day projected tomorrow - so i will enjoy while I can

At least you will be able to check into DU and catch any important highlights of the convention. If it catches peoples' attention, it it sure to be commented on here.

...... except for fish and chips. Bangers and mash and jellied eels don't cut it for me. ...... But the Indian, Middle Eastern and African food in London rocks.

Roast beef & Yorkshire pudding, lamb with mint sauce, steak & kidney pie...bit more to it than jellied eels, anyway.

be out and about. I love the museums, west end shows, mass transit, walking tours, and so on. I always look forward to the free Metro paper in the Tubes and the free Evening Standards handed out on every corner in the early evening. I read more newspapers in London then I ever do in Oklahoma. Have you ever had a chance to go into one of the Linley's Shops? I finally got the courage to go into the one off of Picadilly on Albermarle. The only thing that I could afford was a bookmark.

I hope you find some time to enjoy yourself.
