Do ya think I should cancel my cars maintenance appt for tomorrow???

I mean come on, what was I thinking…….a Monday after a weekend AND the holiday 4th of July, ya know the Monday in between a Sunday and Tuesday the 4th of July. I’m thinking not a good day to have my car maintenance done.

3. Just thinking they had Sunday off, now they'll have Tuesday off, guess, the work brain might

4. Only if you are, perhaps, a woman? They might "notice" all kinds of other problems that

suddenly need to be "fixed." The male mechanic's brain is always prepared to enlarge the estimate by at least 10%. Not OK, maybe just a little bit.

If they're open it means they haven't gone on a long weekend. If they're a normally reliable shop it will be business as usual.

7. The OP has a point, it may be the "B" team that has to work on the orphaned day.

There will certainly be higher absenteeism than normal Monday.
