are there a lot of trolls wandering around DU lately. Seems like the mods and the jurors have been pretty busy. Are we under attack? Should I break out the spam and the sterno?

1. It's purely subjective, but I think the trolling levels are WAY up...

figured that the site is going to be extremely distracted and an
easier target until the admins get a firm grasp and understanding
of DU3 in real life and realtime.

12. Yeah, well, he's the flavor of the month.

Except in this case, given that they've already gone through the rest of the asylum and are running out of time, he'll be the flavor of the next 10 days, maybe. Then he'll flame out in Iowa and N. Hampshire and be toast, although I do think it would be nice if he did well enough to either 1) contemplate his own run as an independent or 2) by some miracle get the nomination. Because either way, he'd be an extremely weak candidate once his full nutcase glory is revealed on a big scale -- most disinterested people know nothing about him. I think that the thugs are going to pull every dirty trick in the book this election cycle, and anything that gives Pres. Obama a boost will help, and running against a weak candidate that is out of touch with mainstream voters will help a lot -- look at Dole in 1996.

So, these people will soon be gone. Bye bye.

9. My guess is that whatever filter that was used to weed out...

previously tombstoned posters on DU2 has not been coded or implemented yet.

I've seen several trolls with names like "ImBack" and "RememberMe".

Some people just have no life.
