More on the Gopher Turtle.

I wish I could take a photo to put him in the cuteness contest.

So I walked by and the cutie was poking out of the hole, covered in sand. Get this: I think the turtle knew he was camouflaged and stayed still as I walked by. It's pretty far from the house so I turned around a few feet later and came back to get another look. This clever turtle must have known I was coming back because this time he retreated. Smart little guy.
