Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI just found a baby mouse in my half bath!
Luckily I had the door to the bathroom closed to keep the cats out.
It was about an inch long and had it's eyes closed. It was rather lethargic if that matters. It is possible that
one of my cats found the mouse before it either escaped into the bathroom or was batted under the door into the bathroom.
I love wildlife, but not inside my home.
I picked it up with one of those reachers and it squeeked. I released it outside but am concerned momma or friends
might still be lurking in my home.
Will my kittehs be enough to take care of any remaining rodents or do I need to buy some traps?

... running under it (in deep woods). One of the most endearing things was during
the winter, when one of us took a bath, you could hear the field mice skittering
around in the space between the rafters and the bottom of the bathtub (enjoying
the heat).

Your kitties SHOULD be enough for a minor mouse problem. Just don't EVER let on
to them that they are now working for a living!!!

(6,163 posts)I would prefer to catch them as I did with one and relocate them, but I think nature will take over.
I am just glad I will not have to put out traps.

(6,163 posts)It was intact with no wounds, so my cats obviously did not get to it.
There is no poison out, so I wonder what got to this little guy?
Of course I don't want live mousies in my home but I am just curious why it died early on.

(6,163 posts)I would be more than happy to send the stiff little guy to you.
Shipping charges will be minimal, I assure you.
I meant the half-bath.
It just sounded like a "fly in the soup" joke.
