I like to think of the body as a suit. When it gets old, we just trade it in for a new body/suit or maybe just opt out for a stint as a spirit. And old is good: they're marching to the finish line in this very difficult school known as "earth." I admire them for getting as far as they have. We should all be so lucky.

Also like to think of age lines as "earned." Look at those lines on Leonard's face. You can tell he had a lot of fun putting them there because they look like laugh lines! Now granted, not everything in Leonard's life has been roses, but hey, he looks happy, yes?

Thanks for posting the pic of Leonard; he's my favorite singer/poet.

that there is something extra poignant and just a little bit sad when The Icons of Youth get so gray and wrinkly.
