6. OK, here's a joke

There once was an emperor who wanted to rule over the entire world. So he assembled a huge army and set about on his quest. He eventually conquered half the world, but his army became too stretched out and suddenly it was being defeated everywhere, leaving the emperor and his empire in ruins.

The moral of the story: Don't try to make vast conquests with half-vast armies.
