Yes, California lieutenant governor Gavin Newsom has a Friday night show on Current TV. I don't know where to find the full interview, but YouTube also has a clip of Forbes hawking the gold standard on the show.
Huffington Post has an account of Newsom's interview with Forbes.

MOST, not all of them, but those with more than 100 million in net worth, Forbes, Romney, so many others in the private equity business, they are so damn paranoid they are willing to throw their grandmothers under a bus to keep all their wealth.
Most artists, movie actors, and a few that have actually been through tough times, (e.g. Soros), they know what the meaning of life is; the rest of the super rich, very sick minds, almost all of them, and that includes some ex golf champions and some other sports stars who earned way more than what they really were worth.

(25,111 posts)They are so afraid of someone trying to take their wealth, in some cases, these rich folks screwed someone else for it anyways and they have to sleep with one eye open. Meanwhile some rich, not all, definitely don't give a shit about no one else.

By the way, isn't he the GRANDSON OF the founder of Forbes Magazine, not the founder himself? His father was Malcolm Forbes, his grandfather and founder of Forbes Magazine, B C Forbes. Talk about a guy who couldn't get a job anywhere else outside of his grandfather's shop! We are supposed to pay attention to this guy???
I think this guy is phony from day one, only interested in making sure he doesn't lose one penny of what he inherited to taxes.
