A clip from the Movie Lincoln with Daniel Day-Lewis superbly playing the part of Lincoln

I watched this movie tonight and highly recommend it. Was thinking about how the party of Lincoln has disintegrated to the point it is today. Imagine a debate, Trump VS Lincoln, or Cruz VS Lincoln.

It was based on the book by Doris Kearns Goodwin who is always a favorite, went to a book signing and she signed my book.

And I certainly agree that Lincoln wouldn't recognize his party today. My Dad always voted Republican and I don't think he would, either.
