The Obamas tango in Buenos Aires.

This was filmed last night at the state dinner held in President Obama's honor at the Kirchner Cultural Center (which the right-wing president, Macri, actually closed two months ago). The tune is called Por una cabeza ('By a Head').

And he never took lessons.

Of course, most people are only familiar with tango as a ballroom dance (typically performed by professionals). The one Argentines themselves dance is usually slower, more sentimental, and far less acrobatic (thank God).

I'm glad they had a nice time. I understand he's flying to Bariloche as we speak for a little R&R and golfing - and to take a break from the GOP-style president the Argentines narrowly elected last November.

and I'm going to miss him when his term is over. He hasn't been perfect, but I feel so good about this country when I see him representing us. Cool, intelligent and a great example of an American man for the rest of the world to see.

I am proud of our President and First Lady. It's a shame we have presidential term limits. (big grin here)

It's also a shame most Republicans fell in line with the unpatriotic cruz and turtle call to make the first family look bad.

And yes, I'm surprised the Republicunts haven't already made an issue of the "cost" - as if Bush's constant (and pointless) trips abroad had been free. This one at least made history (the visit to Cuba).

A little beauty, love, passion, and culture remind us that life can have joy. Thank you, President and lovely First Lady!
