1. It's amazing they say that. As if it being a religion means we shouldn't take it seriously!

Okay. So a religion that at least many scientists have evidence of is like a made up superstition anyway? What about a religion that there is no credible proof of whatsoever? I suppose we should blow all those off for sure then.

2. If climate-change is a religion, do I have the religious right to climate-change not coming true?

Let's say, I were a believer of a religion that revolves around an apocalyptic event "climate-change". And the teachings of the religion say that we must prevent climate-change.

Wouldn't it infringe on my religious rights if other people do things that conflict with my religion's goals?

(Hey, if the reasoning is good enough for gay-marriage, it's good enough for climate-change.)
