New Video: Pope Francis and the Meaning of Climate Action

This video reminds me a bit of a book I once read called Christians and Pagans. It talked a lot about how so many fundamentalist Christians just parrot those cherry picked Bible passages that say stuff like "thou shalt have dominion over all the earth" and "be fruitful and multiply", and ignore so many Bible passages that tell men to be good stewards of Nature and the earth. And that's the main message of this video. Science says it one way, religion says it another way, but both say that you have to take care of the Earth and all its creatures.

So many stand with the molesters, so few with the protectors.

I am not a Catholic, but if Catholicism as a whole fully embraces the words of Pope Francis, they would be standing with me.

I would be more than fine with that. Misery loves company, eh?
