John Fugelsang on Indiana Religion Freedom Bill: Time to Thump the Bible Thumpers with the Bible

it’s time to “thump the Bible thumpers with the Bible” over Indiana’s new Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which he says is “un-Christian.”

They distort the bible to read as they please and omit the teachings of Jesus in loving everyone. It is disheartening to hear these laws are being passed by "Christians". As Ron Portland found he loved his son and he evolved on the issue.

They can't comprehend that the Old Testament was written Before Christ and is, in many places contrary to the teachings of Jesus.

OT: An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
NT: If they brother offend thee, rebuke him, if he says he is sorry, forgive him.

And on and on.

Jesus said "Let the little children come unto me". The new so-called Christians say get rid of SNAP benefits because the parents are just lazy. Oh, and forbid birth control to families that can't afford to feed any more kids, and cut their welfare benefits more, becuse the parents are just lazy layabouts anyway and we need to get them to quit laying about watching Netflix on their wide screen HD TV and go back to work.

While they are all naddering about 'putting Christ back in Christmas' I would much rather see them put Christ back in Christianity.

Ghandi: "I like your Christ very much, he is so unlike your Christians."

The most glaringly hypocritical label on the planet these days is "evangelical" (ie. judgmental and bigoted) Christian!

world. Red and yellow black and white, they are precious in his sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world.

Wonder if the children still sing that song?
