Ethos Documentary

Hosted by Woody Harrelson.

ONE CLEAR MISSION: TO RETURN A GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE. A TRUE DEMOCRACY.

If we had a true democracy, a government of the people for the people, corporations would be denied tax loopholes, they would be forced to clean up their pollution, they would be denied access to power through financial inducements to representatives, they would pay tax penalties for outsourcing jobs. They would be forced to pay fair wages. If we had a true democracy the banks would not be allowed to commoditize markets to drive up prices. Home foreclosures would be stopped instantly while those who caused the financial collapse would be penalized instead of receiving bonus’ paid out of tax payer bailout money. The Director of the NSA, James Clapper would not be allowed to lie to congress and go unpunished. The list is endless...

Thanks for the comment and I'm glad you found it interesting.

It, along with similar documentaries, might be disturbing to some, but a familiarity with the topics runs along the lines of an informed citizenry.

Of course, we should subject such information to scrutiny and debate, but that can only happen with initial awareness and repeated exposure. There are verifiable factors in the many, well made documentaries that offer insight into important issues for our times.

i went shopping today. Christmas shopping. It's a horror out there.

My advice to everyone, especially those having trouble making ends meet: turn off the TV. Cancel your subscription to cable. Just turn it off. You will be amazed at the money you save, and not just on the cable charges. TV is just one big sales machine. TV is designed to get you to spend your money. They might as well take a pliers out of their pockets and grab your wallet. That is really what TV is about.

Stop watching TV. It is an addictive substance.
