President Obama meets with students in Lorain County job training programs: local pool report

ELYRIA, Ohio – President Obama huddled for about 15 minutes in a campus workshop this afternoon with four Lorain County Community College and Lorain County JVS students.

The students shared with Obama the challenges they have faced in returning to school to learn new skills. The participants were Duane Sutton, 52; Bronson Harwood, 34; David Palmer, 60; and Andrea Ashley; 42. All are unemployed.

A few remarked that homework has been the biggest adjustment.

"I'm not going to give you an excuse not to do your homework," Obama joked to Harwood.

1. Going to these schools with ACE classes

and retraining classes to meet with the people is a good way to get his message out. I'll bet many of them are repubs and just got exposed to the truth...I wonder if their opinions change?
