People have lost their fucking minds. I wish there were little girls in the world that were NOT exploited. These little girls certainly have been in the name of making this video, IMHO.

There are a lot of ways to get this message across far more effectively, and with less violation of children. These little girls are forever on this video...were they ready to portray themselves this way throughout their lives? How many paths in life might they have closed to themselves, that they might otherwise have taken, had they not been used for this video? What will be the consequences for their futures? They were too young to decide intelligently for themselves, with plenty of facts and understanding under their belts, how this could play out at some point in their futures. I can think of two senate races right now where a video like this surfacing might lose a woman (one of these children all grown up? ) an election.

These little girls have already BEEN violated.

it appears they were taken advantage of by women not men. Nice message to send, exploitation is ok as long as it is by the same gender. I doubt any of those girls had any idea what they were talking about.

What are they trying to accomplish with this video?

Whatever it is, it's being obscured by the appearance that very young girls are being used by adult women.

And then it also begs the question, is it a right or an obligation? CNN even had an article yesterday on whether its acceptable to allow your daughter to dress up like a princess for halloween if she wants to, or to steer her towards some career oriented costume to hook em while they're young.

It was odd, but I'm glad they had the boy dress up like a princess in the video to make the point that its not bad to be a girl.

First of all these children are old enough to understand the situation and I prefer they be made aware of these problems rather than sweeping them under the rug. Secondly what the Fuck is wrong with swearing - is it worse than rape and pay inequality and lack of choice about what you can do with your body.? When should a young girl learn about these things. I see a lot of the posters using words that you don't think children hear in the school hallways every day? The whole idea of this PSA is to make us all stop making believe that our girls and young women are safe and have the same opportunities as boys and men. Because that's a Fucking Lie!

This is a civil rights issue and the danger and lack of opportunity to women and girls is in many ways equivalent to the dangers faced by African Americans in the 60s. And they sent their small children to white schools where they were threatened and spit upon because they believed that the world needed to change for those same children. I see a parallel here. Imagine sending your daughter into the situation you see below hoping for a better world for her in the future. Now imagine her using swear words in a film to help make her future better today.

I am so sick & FUCKING tired of people acting so hurt or offended over "curse words"...Especially, in the context of this video!

Your point about using the future generation to protect the future generation was very powerful! Just like the central message of this video but the point seems to have flew right over the heads of everyone posting comments on this page it seems. I swear I thought I had signed on to Red State or the FOX "News" comment section the way everyone focuses on just the girls use of "bad words" & not the horrible issues these girls will have to face AS LONG AS WE ALLOW STUPID STUFF LIKE CUSSING TO DISTRACT US FROM HAVING AN OPEN & HONEST DISCUSSION & DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

Thanks again for your comment I thought it was fucking POWERFUL!

Learning as young as possible that girls have a voice as much as any male voice is imperative. To allow young girls to believe otherwise is no longer an option. Empowering girls is necessary to protect themselves from bullying, unwanted sexual advances, sexual assault and rape is as required as teaching young black boys how to protect themselves from harm. Same damn thing!

Nothing more "empowering" and ensuring the success of our girls in their future work lives then teacing that cussing, especially in public, is perfectly acceptable. Why, we should expect these fine young girls to go far in the professional world armed with such an intelligent sounding "word enhancers" (with apologies to SpongeBob SquarePants)
