Mike gives an excellent take about the capitalism as a system that has run it´s course, grinding people into the ground in the process.

It will be too late when we start boiling to act effectively...unless we are ignited by an event such as the passage of the KXL (hopefully not), more murders by police of young black males with their hands up, CA or TX going bone dry largely due to both Climate Change and Fracking...y'know, something that becomes MAJOR...I'm just saying...

A socio-economic system that works better than capitalism. Before we go crazy off onto some untried social experiment, remember that regulated capitalism works the best.
To actually have regulated capitalism, where regulation is not controlled by the 1%, requires eternal vigilance.
Good luck with that.

There are from my estimates at least half the country with the same frustration you example in your passion of wonder why, or what people are waiting for.

To be honest it is not the capital system, it is the basic American experiment does not work according to guidelines specified in the Constitution.

Representation could be more computerized to resolve the corporate parasites.

Moving forward using the postal system, turning it into digital electronic communications where those citizens in good standing could now participate in the written structure of statutes that support a Democratic Republic, which is not happening now.

The Unions have always been of the first parts of the Constitution however corrupted by business. Unionism should work because its basic fundamentals are within the first amendment.

To be able to assemble peacefully, to be able to list grievances, and submit them to our government.

To be able to have freedom of speech. However in today’s socially advanced structure it now is called media time. The Supreme Court totally bought off by the one percent. That in itself is a failed Democracy with unfair Republic overtones.

Yes it is the one percent, and that expression called too big to fail. Thom Hartmann characterized that special flaw in our Constitutional experiment. The corporation concepts today acts as a lawless free-wheeling entity that is given more power than the individual citizen.

Thom brought out the brilliant contrast of how people lost their say in the work place. In other words this “At Will” work environment has shown Americans how failed the system is not having a voice of the people by the people for the people.

Mr. Hartmann clearly identified the too big to fail flaw in our system. That is the common worker lost his or her real opportunity or social application in the American Democratic Republic without a vote in the work place, or the ability to submit a grievance to the government.

The irony is that we people through our government give the corporation the right to conduct business. Yet, it is our representatives that have let this abuse carry over to the point of distress and failure.

Its a lot of media leadership beside government leadership, now today its simple courage, and simple wherewithal to do what needs to be done.

More over America needs continued passion for change by individuals like you and Thom, the Rush Limbaughs have had enough opportunity to screw things up. Example by Rush limbaughs comments in the obnoxious commercial profits he is making.
