Sam, you are right. Israel needs to take responsibility. They are driving the bus. However, how does one do that when one sees oneself as the victim? (Sounds a great deal like fundy X-tians in this country, believing they are the victim of racisim or religious persecution.)

Sam was really sounding awkward at the beginning, especially the use of the work "punish" to describe what the IDF is doing in Gaza. Unfortunately, that awkwardness speaks loudly.

You have a strong voice, Sam. Use it.

But how else do you speak to the wrong-headed?

I'm thinking of Tecumseh and, later, the Cherokee, when dealing with "settlers" - they expected to be treated like human beings, too, but maybe needed to understand the taboo they were facing:
- something about the colonist's needs overriding the indigenes' -

800,000 olive trees says something, too.
