15. WBC

As much as I despise the WBC, there is something that makes me uncomfortable about people who believe they are speaking out being chased and intimidated by an angry mob.

This is the same behaviour that we have seen at Tea Party rallies and Republican town hall meetings. One of the most striking counter demonstrations I have seen against WBC was people holding up a big sign that read "we are sorry for your loss" (after Freds death) in response to the usual "God hates, etc."

As tough as it is to maintain your composure, threats of violence and conflict is what invigorates these people.
