Condi traveling the country rewriting her history: American Faust: From Condi to Neo-Condi

Condi is coming to U of M in April. Touting she is part of civil rights history.. not her taking away of human rights.

We are calling on those (we are having to a hard time finding out who) who invited Condi to U of M.

and of course we are looking forward educating those going to the event and reminding them that she is a war criminal.

The event is presented by the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. It is made possible by a gift from the late Curtis L. Carlson, who created an endowment to annually host speakers of international note on topics of broad interest. The decision to host Dr. Rice was made by representatives of Carlson, the Carlson Family Foundation, and the Humphrey School of Public Affairs.

Here is the announcement of her coming to University of MN
Date: 04/17/2014
Time: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Location: Northrop
Cost: FREE
Description:
Widely considered to be one of the most influential and powerful people in the world,Condoleezza Rice shares her unparalleled expertise on global affairs, national security and education.

As Secretary of State and National Security Advisor, Condoleezza Rice pioneered a policy of transformational diplomacy and heralded the formation of new global governments based on democratic principles. Rice has proven to be a significant leader during a time of unprecedented and tumultuous world affairs, recognized for her courageous efforts to foster worldwide freedoms for all people. Her great love of America and her faith in its core values are the foundational strength of her presentations regarding foreign policy, education and the empowerment of women. Rice is the author of two New York Timesbest-sellers, Extraordinary, Ordinary People: A Memoir of Family and No Higher Honor: A Memoir of My Years in Washington.

The 2014 Distinguished Carlson Lecture featuring Condoleezza Rice coincides with Humphrey School of Public Affairs' year-long theme Keeping Faith with a Legacy of Justice, a series of several civil rights-related events the Humphrey School will host as we approach the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

More so than any single law, this legislation was responsible for hastening the demise of de jure segregation in many parts of the country. No U.S. lawmaker was more responsible for passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 than Hubert H. Humphrey, and he regarded its passage as a crowning achievement of his political career. During 2014, the Humphrey School and community partners will sponsor a range of activities to mark the anniversary of this critically important legislation, recommit to civil rights principles, and increase awareness of contemporary civil rights issues.

Just like all the other war criminals from that administration, no regrets and would do the same thing today. It really is pathetic.
