Everybody needs to start suing the police departments for every crime committed by cops. Once they stop getting paid to harass the community and kill unarmed civilians and have to start paying for their crimes, they'll get the assholes out of law enforcement.

That cops should be suspended without pay during the investigation and pug on trial.
Everytime a cop shoots of kills an unarmed civilian they should be put on trial.
I'm tired of this I thought I saw a gun shit.

suspension pending the results of an investigation. Make the decision to fire the weapon have some impact on the officer. If they are found to be in the right, well then backpay and reinstatement. If not, discharge from the force.

Why do they have to say "*female* police officer"? She's a police officer; why can't they just say "police officer"? Like being female somehow makes her not simply a police officer.

ffjh,

I totally agree with you. I think we should just keep 'man' as the suffix to all the job descriptions that have them, ie: police-man, mail-man, delivery-man, garbage-man regardless of sex and leave out the prefix of female. And there are those that are gender neutral from the start - pilot, lawyer, judge, professor, teacher, doctor. We don't (or shouldn't) describe the same professions with the prefix label of some other identifier - (usually a minority).

stay cool,

Burfman

We can expect more of this. I wonder if the NRA is going to help pay wages for cops when nobody wants to be one anymore for being out gunned.

And even if this kid did have a BB gun, why shoot him with a real gun? Police are too quick to shoot and ask question later.
