The incident referred to in this thread occurred in May 2012. Later last year, the same thing happened to two Irving, Texas women and I believe they have initiated a federal lawsuit.

I gave them credit for saving money by reusing the latex glove. As proven by the state's recent efforts to shut down planned parenthood, reduce the number of abortion service providers from 16 to 4, and to request pre abortion exams that are nothing more than rape via transvaginal ultrasound, this is par for the course.

I suspect that the GOP has seriously underestimated Texas women when they get mad enough to kick ass. Some legis types are about to be emasculated by a few thousand 4 inch stilettos ( much more effective than boots in this case).
