Oh, for D_g's sake ... sample these opinions from our local paper ...

Republicans fleeing Trump are dooming the party and the country (reprinted in our local paper as "Republicans fleeing our nominee owe constituents an apology"

If Trump goes down, the GOP could still fight for Supreme Court

Judge Roy Moore would have made a great founding father (As you'd expect from the title, this one is particularly delusional)

Millions of unborn children could die under a Clinton-picked Supreme Court

So, by and large, things in the great red state of Alabama are about as bad as most liberals imagine. OTOH, two of the most disturbing opinions were imports --

Now, try to imagine the immense relief I'll feel on 9 November. I'll be fairly bursting with schadenfreude, but around here, it's best not to be public about it.

(BTW, all these opinions but one appeared in a single edition of the paper. I left out a couple of LTOE's that were at least equally deserving of derision.)
