Mitt The Stripper: Romney is running an 'Emperors New Clothes' campaign.

Tweety penned a piece below about the Good Governors conservative new cloths. Tailor made, designer label. of course: They'd have to be to cover that messy body of evidence to the contrary. And they are not real.
I would go further. This time the King of Bain knows he is half naked, and not surprisingly, the more people see they less they like. He's that kinda guy. The conventional wisdom is to go on full on negative. Spin, spin so fast they can hardly catch a glimpse. Fling as much mud and muck in every direction, and hope some of it sticks.
Straight ticket Republicans are doing their best. Never mind holding their noses, they are trying to avert their eyes. Mitt does his best: 'Look I'm no Statue of David' (that's the groan/laugh line), but just Look At My Wall. That one there, that's Obama. See that, it's Newt.
But those without cast iron stomachs are edging away. Mitt may be spinning like a top, but the outline is enough to think about leaving. His Campaign is still moneyed up: Step this way, right over here folks. Yes this piece is called 'Resigned in Disgrace'. And there's more, much more. AND don't forget, Mitt's Manure Masterpieces are available on your TV right now. Please Sir, don't look at the man behind the shower curtain. Yes, that's right ma'm, it's an invisible curtain; The Governor got the idea from Adam Smith.
It's the end of the day. 'Honey, I'm sorry. What where we thinking?. 'Mitt the Stripper and his Manure Masterpieces'? Dinner is off, and so is the TV.'
Well maybe not all is lost. David Alexrod has a whole range of outfits for Mitt to model, starting with pure white skimpy briefs, with 'Swiss Mitt' emblazoned in the obvious place. Embittered Evangelicals are keen to talk underwear as well.
But whether it's Tax Returns or Tuxedos, Mitt will never look comfortable. What is he hiding? Terror in Three Words: 'Take it off'.
GOP sees through Romney disguise
Think of Mitt Romney. He presents himself in the new clothes of a conservative, a man of the right, a figure who has no faith in government, a hardnosed man of the right who has great fondness for the tea party, great distaste for other countries, who assumes all the trappings of the American angry enemies of the establishment.
Oh yes, that other adornment. He is a man who never - and he wears this coat well - never wanted to serve a life in politics. Oh yes, he ran for the Senate but never really wanted to serve a career there. It helped that he lost that race to Ted Kennedy. Oh yes, he ran for governor and was elected but never intended to run for re-election because that would have made it about him. Mitt Romney isn't one of those politicians who run for office with the idea of serving there. He's just a private citizen, a conservative businessman who, on some occasions, offers himself for public office.
Of course, this is all nonsense. These new clothes he has adorned himself with are not real at all. He's been a moderate governor of Massachusetts who started the individual mandate which President Obama applied to the country as a whole. He is, in fact, a fellow who has been running for office since the early part of the 1990s and, in all probability, has had his eyes on the presidency since, as my colleague Lawrence O'Donnell noted early today, since his father lost the race in 1968.

Great post.
