GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) — A witness and Hamas media say that masked gunmen have killed seven suspected informants for Israel near a Gaza City mosque as worshippers were ending midday prayers.

The shootings brought the number of alleged collaborators killed in the coastal strip on Friday to 18.

Earlier in the day, Hamas killed 11 men by firing squad in Gaza City's police headquarters, according to the Hamas-run Al Rai website.

1) Leading up to the 2006 elections, Hamas assassinated Fatah rivals, intimidated civilians, threatened poll workers, and did all other kinds of Weimar Republic Nazi-like stuff to gain a majority in the PLC.

2) Israel, which for decades had funded and encouraged Hamas to grow in order to be an adversary to the PLO. Well, Israel got their wish.

There's plenty of people here and elsewhere who are sympathetic to Hamas. Hamas is a terrorist organization that has as a mandate, the destruction of Israel and all Jews in the Middle East. They are a serious threat to anyone who wants peace and stability in that region, but people see them as heroic "Freedom fighters" because some of Israels actions are at times, harsh.

That still doesn't mean you should support an Islamo-fascist, and I use that term loosely, group like Hamas.
