Two Dead In Hazard Community And Technical College Shooting

LEX 18 is following breaking news out of Perry County tonight where there has been a shooting on the campus of Hazard Community and Technical College.

Sources tell LEX 18 that three people have been shot and that two of those people are dead. We're told this happened in the First Federal Center parking lot at HCTC just before 6:30 p.m.

Hazard Police are on the scene along with Kentucky State Police.

Kentucky State Police say two people who identified themselves as having some sort of involvement with the shooting came forward to the KSP post in Hazard and are being questioned.

Sounds more like a gang/drug shooting at this point, that's everyday in places like Chicago, poverty and the war on drugs to blame.
