Host of The Young Turks Cenk Uygur interviewed gun advocate and conservative talk radio host Alex Jones about everything from his appearance on Piers Morgan to his views on Glenn Beck and posed a tongue-in-cheek question that may have been secretly serious: “Have you ever sought mental health treatment?”

Jones simply laughed and quipped, “America needs mental health treatment if they don’t have a pulse.” He went on to explain:

is a liar of the first order. Someone who continually lies and never takes correction MIGHT be a sociopath.

I know there used to be some fans of his that posted here at DU. Posting links to his sites has been forbidden for a long time. Several years ago (in the old conspiracy dungeon) I cautioned some who were talking about his material. I told them then that if Jones ever tells his audience to "run for the hills", in my opinion, it would be a BIG mistake to follow that advice.

He is killing himself with his weight and rants. Reminds me of Brietbart that way, all the time.

Jones is not someone I think should have access to firearms. But I have a low opinion of guns and those who love them so.

...on Current TV. it really was a riot. Cenk could interview the devil himself with his candor. I laughed my butt off when he asked Jones that question. I just got a kick out of Cenk's questions, not particularly Alex's answers. Got to where I couldn't wait till the next question. Cenk rocks!
