As Republican lawmakers continue to introduce bills that roll back diversity, equity and inclusion programs across the United States, advisers for President Joe Bidens campaign are sounding the alarm that a Donald Trump victory in 2024 would only accelerate that process.
Key Trumps allies, led by former White House adviser Stephen Miller, are working to use civil rights-era laws to combat anti-white racism, and theyre targeting programs that provide economic opportunities for communities of color, DEI initiatives created as a result of 2020s racial reckoning, and even sports leagues like the NFL, according to a report from Axios earlier this week
Their intentions arent exactly a secret. Government programs that attempt to redress decades of racist policies would be eliminated should Trump be elected to a second term. As President Trump has said, all staff, offices, and initiatives connected to Bidens un-American policy will be immediately terminated, Trumps campaign spokesperson, Steven Cheung, told the news outlet.
A top Biden campaign official said Black voters needed to pay close attention to Trumps plans.
Trump is making it clear that if he wins in November, hell turn his racist record into official government policy, gutting programs that give communities of color economic opportunities and making the lives of Black and brown folks harder, said former Rep. The whole model of "polling" needs to change because there are more and more who refuse to respond to them and those who do, often have an "agenda". This is why they swung and missed with their narratives for every election (primary, special, general) from 2020 on (all in an attempt to "over-correct" what happened in 2016).

(14,926 posts)As I understand it racism besides the individual bigotry means that government allows, or instigates bigoted actions. It may apply to big corporations (bigotry does). There's a larger power behind a person's bigotry, and actions to back them up.
People do usually use the terms interchangeably. I do.
So, yeah, say a small Black business might act in a bigoted manner towards a particular white person. Otoh, that business would mostly catch hell from white bigots!
Just Shut The Fuck UP - drumphf & Co!!! 😬😑
Truly they will bring more hell back to the Black community, among others if he wins again.
