From the Maker of Unskewed Polling Comes: The Obama Voter Fraud Map...

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by muriel_volestrangler (a host of the Latest Breaking News forum).

Source: Slate

In the last weeks of the election, Dean Chambers became famous for putting into numbers what other conservative put into words. The polls that showed Mitt Romney losing must, said Chambers, have been skewed. He launched UnSkewedPolls.com to recalibrate all national and state polling data to match the electorate he expected in November. He never showed less than a Romney win.

Anyway, the polls were right. Chambers has moved on, launching BarackOFraudo.com, "exposing how they stole the 2012 election." It leads off with a map of the 2012 election that blacks out Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, and Virginia. They are "states won by Obama fraud." What's Chambers going on for that?

"I'm getting credible information of evidence in those states that there enough numbers that are questionable and could have swung the election," he says. "I'm only putting good credible information on there, like the actual vote counts, reports, and mainstream publications reporting voter fraud. There's a lot of chatter, though. There are articles people have sent me that don't hold up. Crazy stuff."...

Rachel Maddow featured Slates article on her show and pointed out the obvious racial symbolism of the four states being "blacked" out.

Can you imagine what the "crazy stuff" is that this guy rejected?

Facts didn't get in the way of the virulent right wing during the campaign; so it would be unrealistic to expect facts to carry any weight post-election.

Cynical "factiness" will always serve them whose agenda is to denigrate those whom they irrationally fear. (I may put this in my signature.)

Conservative darling Dean Chambers, founder of the website unskewedpolls.com that purports to recalibrate political surveys to rid them of liberal bias, argued that New York Times polling guru Nate Silver cannot be trusted because he is a weak, little girly-man.

In a post for Examiner.com, Chambers sought to discredit Silver’s recent statistical analysis that showed Romney flatlining in the presidential race. Chambers, who rose to prominence by asserting that pollsters were nefariously skewing their results in favor of Democrats, insisted that Silver’s latest finding was more indication of that perceived liberal bias.

From what I've read on his site (not much, mind you) it boils down to "too many black people voted, so it MUST be fraud!"

It is true, tons of precincts voted 100% Obama, zero votes for Mitt.
His inference that 100% of the people in a precinct cannot vote for a liberal, black dude is his problem.

That's his whole case, MUST be fraud if 100% voted Obama.
I suggest he move to one of those precincts to do more study.

The not-so-thorough press in America barely understands this subject. The public needs to know how elections work. The laws could be changed to make elections proper and fraud proof.

Isn't it funny how theses are the states that were at the fore front of voter ID,decreased early voting and other voter suppression tactics, and Obama still won them! Not to mention he would of won without Florida,Ohio or Virginia.PA is a pipe dream just because Pennsyltucky is in the middle of the state doesn't equal votes from Philly and Pitt which trump them every time.
