Top Republicans Excoriate Romney On Sunday Talk Shows

Source: TPM

If Mitt Romney has any friends left in the Republican Party, they’re in hiding.

On the Sunday talk shows, senior Republicans, former Romney surrogates and prominent conservatives piled on their defeated presidential nominee for telling donors that he lost because President Obama bought off minorities and young voters with “gifts.”

-snipping paragraphs quoting Newt Gingrich, Bobby Jindal, Lindsey Graham, and Carlos Gutierrez criticizing Romney-

Romney was never beloved by the GOP establishment. But the Sunday show pile-on indicates that any good will he had among the party faithful is rapidly vanishing, and that he’s well on his way to pariah status with the party that so recently anointed him to lead them and the country.

“It’s been well said that you have a political problem when the voters don’t like you, but you’ve got a real problem when the voters think you don’t like them,” said conservative columnist George Will on ABC’s “This Week.” “Quit despising the American people.”

It says a lot that they pick candidates that are so unqualified and embarrassing they have to run from them immediately after the race is lost or the administration is out of power. They hide their top leaders out of shame. wtf republicans? clue?

Oh no, just Mitt the Twit.

Sure, fellas.

More than 50% of Americans voted for the Democrat. And more than that agreed with the Democrats that Republican policies of favoring the rich have got to go.

GOPpers eating their own in the sake of get into power in 2016, pathological lying to the American public which they might believe since Americans have a short memory. GOPpers get in again and fuck up the economy again. Its like a vicious cycle. Ya'think the American public would ever learn that the GOPs are fatal to the well being of America.

So this week too the Goopers are invited to the network shows?

As usual, their problems, like their defeat, is always the fault of someone else.

What gets me is, the number of people who ever vote for Republicans (and by extension, their policies) in the first place. It is the numbers of people in the popular vote who voted for Robme and Lyan that me, and sometimes gives me sleepless nights.

How can we get past the corporate-owned media sell-out propaganda? The numbers of people voting for the Rethugs should be ZERO! Or, wait...1%.

I know we can't expect 100% of the people to have a clear view of who really supports their best future, but still, supposedly 49% of the popular vote went to Robme and Lyan?

In order to keep the Rethugs from stealing any more elections, it seems we have a lot of work cut out for us in the next cycle (2014).

Like...quit trying to discriminate against, and oppress women, people of color, immigrants, the poor, the working class, the middle class, GLBT people, any religion other than fundy fanatic Talibornagains, people who receive Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment, Welfare/food stamps, unions, etc....you know, the American people.

Listen up, Republican party. And if you can't manage that, then we'd all be most happy to see you do a big face-plant in all future elections!

Seriously. We saw him hit denial and then sadness. Now he's moving from sadness and into anger--by making passive aggressive comments about how deranged and listless we all must be--because we didn't see Mitt's genius.

Seriously. We didn't like your idea to voucherize Medicare. Your protectionism of the upper classes and helping them to avoid paying taxes--was revolting. You don't want women to control their own healthcare choices, yeah hated that too. I didn't think your Bain experience was impressive. Your overseas "tour" showed me that you are not the person I want representing our country. And I hated Paul Ryan's budget. Self deportation? Really now...

We have lots of good reasons Mitt. Well thought out reasons.

We're just not that into you, Mitt. Put your big-boy pants on and grieve in private. You're making a fool of yourself.

What a schmuck. mittens, I despise you. I make one tenth what you make (well, what you report) per year, and I still totally despise you. You living piece of stupid shit. 47% includes retired people, mittens. You're an idiot. You've sucked yourself into your own vortex of evil.

They are moaning and groaning, but IMHO, the R party lost precious little with Mitt in 2012. Best to run the first team in 2016. 40% will vote for a Republican no matter what and the Rove money machine will crank up automatically.
