The North County Times is calling it for Democrat Scott Peters in San Diego. I always get nervous about celebrating too early - but it's looking good.

Talk about being taken for granted. This guy has had San Diego in his hip pocket for so long. I know this one had to hurt Karl and crew. They haven't had to spend but a token for elections here for years and now that they did they lost!! Ha ha!!!!

San Diego area is a huge military area. In addition to being the host of a major Pacific fleet anchorage, there is Pendelton Marine base in the area.

A Democratic representative in congress is just what the doctor ordered.

13. I'm glad Brian Bribery, eh, Bilbray lost. The way he gained his seat was borderline illegal.

He even tried to shamelessly use his daughter (who has a terrible disease) to win re-election this time, to try to play on the sympathy of us San Diego voters.
