And we do what we must to GOTV! Every person we come in contact with is asked if they voted. If they voted for the right person. If it was the one who is for the good of the people.

I get alot of smiles. I am also overstocked with boxes of a certain steeped beverage served in cups.

I know a few democrats have crossed to the dark-side, but I know of many more republicans who are voting Obama or not voting for president at all. So are the stats just party votes or what?

This data doesn't include Independents who make up CO's largest piece of the electoral pie. Independents break in polling for the President by a significant margin and the GOTV effort here in CO is excellent. I feel confident in a victory for Pres Obama here in CO. Nate Silver gives it an 69.7% probability as of this writing. I believe that roughly 80% of CO has already voted because we can vote by mail and have generous early voting. Those votes have already been counted but that data will not be released until after the polls close. It likely means that there will not be long delays waiting for counts from CO as 80% has already been counted. It also means less influence of groups like True the Vote to bother voters in line because most of us have already voted.

of the high number of Democrats who have already voted. They ignored NC because they auto-gave it to Romney. I really don't understand this reasoning - look at those numbers!!

It is a pervasive media myth that North Carolina is still Jesse Helms Land. "They" insist that the majority of NC voters will support the conservative line every time. The belief that most NC voters are bible thumping, spouse abusing, knuckle dragging alcoholics with fully stocked gun racks in every flag covered pickup and minivan is simply not supported by our voting record or the police blotter.

can mittshit have anyone believing his lies. I am so convinced that amerikkkka is one of the last strongholds of virulent, hateful, violent racism in the WHOLE world. Beacon of democracy. my ass. Even South Africa doesn't have the voter suppression we do. Thugs at polling places intimidating elderly voters likely voting for Obama. 8-9 hour waits to vote because some white man says he doesn't want to extend the the hours and days of voting so that every minority american with the right to vote, could. This lost, white male entitlement thing has got to be dealt with and I hope the minority votes finally put to rest the false assumption that white males are the only ones capable of running this country. The white male really didn't expect Obama to win in 08, I think he got very surprised. Well this time no surprise just fact, Obama is POTUS and there is NOTHING you can do about it. Period. We are, when it comes to this election, no better than a fucking banana republic. Anything goes! No civility, just lies and outright theft. SICK! SICK! SICK!

CO is unusual in that it's largest group of registered voters are registered as Independents and they break in polling significantly for the President. The Independent numbers aren't provided here and that's misleading. I feel confident that CO will go blue. I've been canvassing for the President for more than two weeks here and the ground game here in the all important Denver suburbs is truly awesome!
