CNN: Sources Accuse Kellyanne Conway of Being Behind Anti-Sean Spicer Leaks

Source: Mediaite

Knowledgeable [link:http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/15/politics/sean-spicer-white-house/index.htmlsources tell] CNNs Dylan Byers they believe that White House counselor Kellyanne Conway is behind the media narrative that President Donald [link:http://www.mediaite.com/online/trump-white-house-is-reportedly-already-talking-about-sean-spicers-replacement/Trump is not happy with] Sean Spicers performance as White House press secretary.

Both Reince Priebus and Steve Bannon denied that Spicer was in the doghouse, saying that he had the full confidence of the president. Priebus suggested the rumors were being spread by a low-level staffer, while Bannon suggested that the media, the opposition party was simply telling lies.

Many people sympathetic to Spicer in and out of the White House believe otherwise, Byers reports. Five of these sources think the person behind the leaks is Kellyanne Conway, Trumps ever-visible White House counselor. Though they offer no hard evidence, they say Conway is trying to offload blame for administration setbacks on Spicer to prove she is the more effective public advocate

Conway of course denies the charge. Absolutely not, she said in a statement. Its absolutely false. Sean has my full support, but most importantly, he has the Presidents full support. We work as a team.

Conway: Trump Administration Is ‘Very Concerned’ About Leaks

By MATT SHUHAM Published FEBRUARY 15, 2017, 9:50 AM EDT

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway said Tuesday night that the White House was “very concerned” about leaks coming from government officials about members of President Donald Trump’s administration.

Fox News' Sean Hannity posed a series of questions to Conway about the leaks during an interview Tuesday night: “Where are these leaks coming from? Are they against the law? Is this, do you think, coming from people that are loyal to the former administration? And when does it stop, because of the danger of the danger associated with these leaks? And is there going to be an investigation?”

Conway did not commit to any investigation.

“We are very concerned about leaks, particularly as it goes to intelligence and security information, it’s extremely concerning. It’s not for me to say where they are coming from or whether there will be an investigation, but it’s obviously taken very seriously by our commander-in-chief and President, because he has said as much as recently as this week,” she said.

infighting and fingerpointing in this White House that none of it makes sense any more. And there are no good guys or sympathetic characters here.

For the internal circular firing squad ...hollow-point, high velocity, uranium tipped... and let's dip them in poison.

AND NO, AGENT MIKE, I am NOT calling for the assassination of the POTUS. No, I want him to be IMPEACHED fair-and-square, and as publicly as possible. I want all America to see just what we won when we treated our national Presidential election like a fucking game show.

It is like watching a train wreck.

Good news is the the most dangerous administration in history is hopelessly distracted and flailing. The more they do that the better our chances for surviving this mess more or less intact and with a decimated opposition party.

Also too it is hysterically funny in a film noire-ish way.
