I came across it on FB. After I posted it here, I noticed that October was written in Russian. Then I had a look at the site. It seems to be trying to represent itself as BBC America, but I don't believe it is. I couldn't find another outlet carrying this in my search of Google News.

9. I think this is a phony news source as is another with the story

I would love it to be true, but a few caveats. 1) many people are nominated, but being considered seriously is different. 2) It is more likely an award would be balanced. Many accounts suggest Kerry and Zarif. 3) articles making predictions also suggest other possibilities like Pope Francis, the Greek Islanders who saved refuggees, or Angela Merkel.

I also think the Paris Climate Change Accord is a possibility too, maybe for the UN.
