Bernie Sanders could be on the verge of another victory Tuesday, this time in West Virginia, where a poll puts him 4 points ahead of Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton.
Sanders has the support of 47 percent of Democrats and independents likely to vote in the primary, according to a poll by MetroNews West Virginia.
Clinton is the choice of 44 percent.

Because using the subject of "emotionally wounded child(ren)" is such a fantastic way to try to stick it to an anonymous person on the Internet.
I'm kinda creeped out right now.

(38,437 posts)Help me here -- why are my feelings hurt?
Oh, and I stand corrected: Sanders needs to beat Clinton 80/20 to get on track.
retrowire
(10,345 posts)That's what this articles about. You being threatened and holding up your comfort blanket is only making it worse for you. It's OK.

(67,782 posts)...Sanders will get 15 delegates, Clinton 14. Only 289 more primaries with a similar result and he'll pull even!

(3,963 posts)If Hillarians are so sure about things, why get so insecure about Bernie winning more and more states?
retrowire
(10,345 posts)Bernie wins a state and they rush in with their reinforcing comfort that they're fine. It is funny.
KittyWampus
(55,894 posts)What's funny is Sanders supporters still pretending that winning states is the actual goal.
retrowire
(10,345 posts)And look at all the Hillary supporters playing damage control in here.
You keep saying it's just a state but... XD everyone's so upset by it.
Weird!
KittyWampus
(55,894 posts)that the only way winning WV will help Sanders win the DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY is if he gets at least 35% more delegates than his opponent.
See?
The OP isn't about just what you want it to be about. The DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY isn't about just winning a bunch of states.
It's about winning a certain percentage of DELEGATES> hasn't this reality sunken in yet?
retrowire

(55,894 posts)losing. But hey, maybe by the end of the whole process Sanders and his supporters will wake up and realize it's about winning delegates and not winning states.
retrowire
(10,345 posts)He's leading in WV and Hillary supporters jump on damage control all while saying "it's just one state it doesn't matter!!1"
This is really funny.

(3,089 posts)what W.VA miners and others face than Hillary is. The voters there don't must not really know his environmental positions and they seem not to care as long as he is an opponent to Hillary. Just amazing. The media continues to do a great job on Hillary, mostly by just playing and re-playing negative, unfounded opinions of Hillary and whatever Trump says.

Do you not support your candidate with contributions?
Cryptoad
(8,254 posts)yes i support my candidates contributions.... unlike ur candidate supporters, the majority of our supporters live in poverty and do not have money to donate. Without my HRC getting out and raising money from the Rich, the poor would not have any representation. Thank u HRC!
Now THIS..... " Without my HRC getting out and raising money from the Rich, the poor would not have any representation. " - is what you call: your most basic load of crap!
Still MILLIONS W/O health care - or with coverage so limited, it may as well not be there - and HRC thinks that coaching the blood-sucking health insurance industry is how to best serve that crowd??? I submit that neither you nor Ms. Transcripts has ever been closer than 50 feet (you know - when in a limo on her way to another mega-dinner) to a person who's day is working dumpsters for sustenance. HRC does not KNOW the poor and does not CARE about the poor. After all, they're obviously not going to be laying out $33K for a meal - so what good would they be to her?
Cryptoad

I am voting for Sanders because I want a less dangerous foreign policy and I am tired of paying for wars and interventions while people are homeless and poor in my hometown.

(1,968 posts)That's a pretty pathetic sentiment.
You can vote for Bernie all you want, he has to win by super significant amounts in remaining states to come even close to getting the nomination, which he isn't.

(71,265 posts)Three months ago, the MetroNews West Virginia Poll showed a much larger difference between Sanders, 57 percent, and Clinton, 29 percent, with 14 percent not sure.
