Hillary Clinton Rejects 'Support' From Billionaire Charles Koch
Source: The Inquisitr
Hillary Clinton was quick to respond to Kochs seeming support for her.
Clinton took to Twitter to discredit the compliment she received from Kochs interview.
Not interested in endorsements from people who deny climate science and try to make it harder for people to vote, Hillary Clinton posted on social media.

It doesn't matter if someone sleeps with a pig.
..Just get them to deny it.

(37,748 posts)I suggest as truth that which validates my biases as well.
Granted, we lack any relevant evidence supporting our faith-based, magical-thinking belief systems, but all we need to do is yell "Benghazi/Transcripts/Vince Foster!" and we suddenly convince ourselves (though no one else) that rational thought has no real place in our brains at present.

Typical smoke and mirrors after a krusty senile billionaire says the wrong thing on TV.....sigh
Let's keep the establishment status quo and vote HRC? Very sad to say the least.
Guess your happy with the way things are or at least the way the Neocons were in the late 1990s.
HRC is a sellout to the GOP since Bill was in office.

Clintons contribution to the crisis lay in his appointment of Cuomo to HUD. Cuomo became HUD secretary in 1997 after becoming assistant secretary in 1993. In a heavily researched 2008 article in the Village Voice, Wayne Barrett writes,
Andrew Cuomo, the youngest Housing and Urban Development secretary in history, made a series of decisions between 1997 and 2001 that gave birth to the countrys current crisis. He took actions that in combination with many other factors helped plunge Fannie and Freddie into the subprime markets without putting in place the means to monitor their increasingly risky investments. He turned the Federal Housing Administration mortgage program into a sweetheart lender with sky-high loan ceilings and no money down, and he legalized what a federal judge has branded kickbacks to brokers that have fueled the sale of overpriced and unsupportable loans. Three to four million families are now facing foreclosure, and Cuomo is one of the reasons why.
Barrett continues,
Perhaps the only domestic issue George Bush and Bill Clinton were in complete agreement about was maximizing home ownership, each trying to lay claim to a record percentage of homeowners, and both describing their efforts as a boon to blacks and Hispanics. HUD, Fannie, and Freddie were their instruments, and, as is now apparent, the more unsavory the means, the greater the growth.
Cuomo
did more to set these forces of unregulated expansion in motion than any other secretary and then boasted about it, presenting his initiatives as crusades for racial and social justice. [Emphasis added.]
Bill Clinton gave Cuomo that power and backed his aggressive policies to the hilt. Bill Clinton, then, shares responsibility for the Great Recession. When will he be held accountable?

Is she dense or something? Or just doesn't care? Well, I personally think Hillary is very intelligent, so I have to go with she doesn't care if loads of methane gas leaks into our atmosphere.

(360 posts)Ya he didn't know that he needed to donate to her Foundation to buy influence like all the other rich, tyrants, despots, and mega international corporations. Maybe have Chelsea come out to do a 15 minute speech for $200,000 on getting enough sleep at night.

Bet he just donated to her Super Pac instead so she couldn't be tied to it.
Just like the Dictators and Weapons Manufacturers donated to her "Foundation" so its not a direct link

(5,668 posts)yeah had a **** bully go after me because he all but endorse her hey in english that does not mean he endorsed her it means he came as close as a Republican can go in endorsing her without doing it outright. So Hillary just made this a much bigger deal than it originally was. Oops. temper temper smh

(854 posts)What remarkably canny political maneuvering on the part of Team Doublethink: Hillary gets to enjoy the endorsement of ultra-conservative billionaire oligarchs while also enjoying the benefits of playing to the liberal base by "refusing" that endorsement in public. It doesn't matter if she "wants" the endorsement or not: she has it, and for very specific reasons.
Those with sensitive sniffers will no doubt detect the feculent aromas of both Koch and Brock in the wind. Oligarchy: we has it.

(12,754 posts)The story is that the Koch brothers find her appealing. She can "repudiate" it from now until she releases the transcripts, but it doesn't change the fact that they see her as having value to them.

It's no wonder the Koch's like Hillary; she'll keep the sweet fracking contracts rolling their way as President.
