As of 123a CT refresh
Michigan has 130 delegates and Mississippi has 36 delegates so the above delegate totals aren't complete yet
And no, I'm not a paid Hillary shill (as at least one thread has called anyone who dares post the pledged delegate totals, or the popular vote for that matter -- Hillary won that tonight too). Nor am I a Hillary fan. You can check out my Recs page (my Recs page got me banned from the Hillary Group)

(24,330 posts)Both Sanders and Clinton can take a lot away from this evening and, hopefully, the campaigns have learned from it as well

(24,330 posts)It'll probably be a couple of days since the have to count the ballots (e-mail, fax, postal service)
I think they're valid with a postmark before the 8th
I voted by e-mail, so I don't know for sure

(5,668 posts)so some confusion there (actual social media in MI) some again some confusion there but a major loss nonetheless to a state she stole in 2008 from Obama , they both promised they'd pull out and she didn't...

(2,227 posts)supposed to lose by 18 points? Biggest upset in primary history. this will effect other states going forward and delegates you speak of will shift to Bernie.

(10,909 posts)As an aside, thankfully I decided not to report the raw vote total -- as updating several 6 digit numbers every 10 minutes or so would drive me crazy (I do report the raw percentage total). When I first posted, with more than 90% in both races, I didn't think the delegate amounts would be changing so rapidly. So I took on quite a job trying to keep this up to date

(2,379 posts)13 or 14 delegates total, I believe. Some countries already reported their totals and Bernie was winning by a large margin.
Maybe a final delegate distribution from that primary will be announced tomorrow, but Bernie should gain on Hillary by a few delegates from that primary.

(24,330 posts)Votes will continue to be counted until March 21st
They may be referring to the number of votes cast at a polling station
But, since the bulk of the votes will be e-mail, snail and fax, those numbers are probably not much to go by

(5,082 posts)Another reason I don't like the state that exploits its citizens economically more than any other state. And they run on mass incarceration. I wouldn't even want to be associated with that.

On my resume I had as a geographical preference as "other than the Deep South" or something like that.
Mississippi to us is where most of our sewage ends up.
But by far most of the edge for Hillary in Mississippi and the other southern states was among A.A. voters, and I'm reluctant to slam them and I don't have a preference to not be associated with them (except I disagree with them on their choice for Hillary -- I don't think she's the best for POC or for anyone else other than the wealthiest few percent and the military industrial complex).
I don't think it is Mississippi's A.A. people that are exploiting others economically, or pushing for mass incarceration.
