5. Well if there is reports that there is a weapon involved then ya cops might draw a gun.

As for this case unless something unexpected is revealed or discovered it sounds like what they said......an accident though the family probably does have a good negligence case and the department would be wise to settle it asap and not argue much over paying out because a jury could very well award the family even more than they might be willing to settle for.
