Seconds after Sanders took the stage, a dozen protesters from the city's Black Lives Matter chapter jumped barricades around the stage and grabbed the microphone from the senator. Holding a banner that said "Smash Racism," two of the protesters -- Marissa Janae Johnson and Mara Jacqeline Willaford, the co-founders of the chapter -- began to address the crowd.

Seems to be the only sign (big one that is ). I am sure they did not announce themselves as protesters--at the door. just my guess

because she had a heads up they might do it. I'm sure her and her team had already discussed what she would say if or when it happened to her. Bernie was totally surprised by it. She had a forewarning to compose. She copies all Bernie's agendas and acts like they are her ideas. Bernie's contact with BLM was a present for her to give her time to prepare for when they did it to her. And so now she was sooo good. No she was just forewarned.

Where are the BLM protesters when KNOWN Racists like Trump, Carson, Cruz and the rest of the GOP are speaking? Why in the hell do these people only protest candidates who are on their side?

Their refusal to protest Republican events is absolute Cowardice!

But this doesn't fit the DU narrative that fully embraced "Occupy" but to hell with any group protesting the physical and cultural genocide of POC, and most notably, black folk in the U.S.

And as a FYI, blacks are the Democratic party's most loyal supporters and damn sure are we going to "hold feet to fire" when it suits us. We were told endlessly here on DU that they were going to "hold Obama's feet to the fire" but when others try to do the same to the current white candidates, that's a big no-no. The only "cowards" around here are the keyboard warriors on internet boards.

Why would we try to talk any sense into the ppl that constantly demean all minorities? Maybe you should take a step back & think about who we vote for in huge voting blocks instead.
