What were the first 89 posts about?

As an aside: how do the post -counts work?

uawchild also has 90 posts here:

To threads showing the same number of posts for the person posting the OP? How is that possible?

I realize this is off-topic, but I am curious.

Perhaps you should just read the other post I made by the Labour party of NewZealand on the TPPA before judging me too harshly?
I hate to think you thought I was a corporate stooge or something because I thought posting viewpoints from non-english as a first language countries worthwhile. I just thought this post giving Hong Kong's views was worth posting in regards to how it effected their relationship with mainland China.

The article talks about how the TPP will effect businesses in Hong Kong, often in unfavorable ways it says.
"Stanley Lau Chin-ho, honorary chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, said the TPP was unfavourable to Hong Kong, particularly its factory owners operating on the mainland. "The TPP will exert more pressure on Hong Kong factory owners to examine their situations and decide whether to upgrade, shut down or relocate," Lau said."

If posting view points from other countries news agencies that give their nation's perspective on the TPP is "corporate propaganda", I apologize. Please read my other post where New Zealand officials are discussing their concerns. Personally, I think it is useful not to ignore what countries outside of the US media bubble are thinking about issues that effect us all.

*** EDIT: I can see how the article's original title from the original source seemed to be boosting the TPPA. I posted a comment about this down thread. Sorry for giving the wrong impression, but I thought posting rules meant I should always use original titles to articles. My mistake. ***

5. The article says Hong Kong and China will just evade the TPPA in any case

Another reason why I thought this particular article was worthwhile posting, is that it reveal the Hong Kong viewpoint on how they would just evade the purpose of the TPPA by relocating their factories if need be...

"The TPP will hurt the competitiveness of made-in-China exports," Poon said. "This means Hong Kong manufacturers across the border can move their production facilities to Vietnam, which many of them have done and are in the process of doing to stay competitive. Or they have to add value to their exports if they stay put."

So, I ask, what are the benefits that the TPPA supposed to bring us here at home? If it's intended to freeze out Chinese manufacturers, it seems the Chinese capitalists will have no qualms about moving THEIR factories over seas to game the agreement.

So, I thought it better to give my post a more neutral and accurate description. In no way do I support the TPPA or feel its a good deal.
