if you aren't...

A) considered trustworty

B) considered likable.

Now you can cheat to win the presidency, but I wasn't talking about republicans in my post.

I just said the same thing in another post.

Clinton's campaign is crumbling. Her initial support was due to the media leveraging her and her "inevitability." That support was never deep or heartfelt. It didn't take much to punch a hole in the balloon--but once it was pierced and Bernie started to gain momentum--the air is leaking out with no end in sight.

As you said, the Biden run in the establishment's "Plan B." They cleared the way for a Hillary victory by ensuring that no other serious Dem candidates would run. This was Hillary's year and Hillary's time. The Biden candidacy makes it look like they are scrambling and reaching for anything.

I love it. I love that "We The People" have finally taken control, and that there's nothing they can do to stop it.

These people, and the corporate corruption that have infested our government with--operate with so much hubris. They've created their little power structure, from which they all operate. They thought they could control us with the media, and for a long time they did.

"We The People" are off the grid now.

As for Biden, I think he will siphon some votes from Hillary and some from Bernie. However, Biden will harm Hillary more. Bernie supporters understand very well that this is a ploy. Joe is a great guy. I love him. However, Bernie is the man if we want, real meaningful change from someone who is outside of the establishment.

5. But here's an interesting dilemma...

If TPTB pull the plug on Hillary's stumbling campaign in favor of more electable Biden, where do the Hillary supporters go? Not Sanders, he rained on her coronation. Not Biden, who replaces her as 'the establishment' candidate. There will be a lot of venom and blind rage, but I'm at a loss to hazard a guess where her support goes.

10. I think information is being leaked iteratively...

If you believe that Biden is "Plan B" then it makes sense that they test the waters first--which is what they've done.

When Hillary's campaign started to show signs of trouble, Biden was thrown up as a possible candidate. Suddenly, he's included in polls. Someone is doing that polling. Someone wants to know what his polls are and also how a Biden candidacy would affect the other candidates.

They're doing a wait-and-see approach. As Hillary tanks further, Biden is leveraged more.

He did Colbert and now he's making all of these political appearances that are intended to see how high his numbers can be boosted (PR stunts like Biden helping to augment the testing of backlogged rape kits, etc.).

This latest information about Biden meeting with a campaign bankroller is intended to make the Biden candidacy more real. If people think he truly might run, the Democratic establishment needs to see if that moves his polls even higher.

And you're right…we know what we know--because they want us to know.

I'm convinced now more than ever that Biden is a serious Plan B--and that they're testing the waters to see if he could win or beat Sanders (based on their polling).

I don't begrudge them for trying to win. It's politics. However, their hubris is laughable. They anointed Hillary and thought that whatever they crafted, we would buy. Sanders and his soaring polls were never on their radar. They put all of their eggs in Hillary's basket, totally underestimating the American people.

The campaigns themselves engage in all kinds of polling. I imagine the Clinton campaign has data that is even worse than has been released. Her campaign is crumbling and may completely implode. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I can't imagine Hillary continuing to watch her numbers worsen without bailing. Would she really stay in if Sanders trounces her from state to state? He's winning by 10 points in Iowa. That's a 35-point drop since May. The more she campaigns, the more voters reject her.

it doesn't seem like his heart is in it. He has worked over a long career, and no one would fault him for wanting to enjoy his retirement with his family especially after what he's been through.

there's no need for a white knight here. There are five major Democratic candidates that each could be qualified to be president, whatever their positions, they all have experience and are skilled.

this is about the DNC trying to save the party and their corporate power from Bernie and his supporters. It has nothing to do with democracy, and it has nothing to do with the supporting the causes that are important to most people. It's about power. It's that simple
