Venezuelan leader says Colombia plotting his assassination

BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro is accusing enemies in Colombia of trying to assassinate him as both countries prepare to spar at the Organization of American States over an increasingly tense border dispute.
Maduro said during a visit to Vietnam that the conspiracy has the consent of Colombias government. He didnt present any evidence to back the claim but said he would soon.

Yup, no evidence again, but he'll have it as soon as it's time to declare war.

(46,327 posts)The fact that Venezuela is going to hell in a handbasket, that the "Great Socialist Revolution" is a big fat failure, and Maduro is taking cues from his old buddy Mugabe in Zimbabwe, crime, inflation and government oppression is out of control.
So Maduro is making all this noise about "The Enemy," in a desperate attempt to distract from all his colossal failures and corruption.
