Clinton endorsed by Tom Vilsack
Source: The Hill
The former Iowa governor and current member of the Obama administration is throwing his support behind Clinton amid speculation that Vice President Joe Biden is considering an entrance into the White House race.
Too often the discussion of good jobs fails to include the unique challenges faced by rural Americans, Vilsack wrote in a Cedar Rapids Gazette op-ed. Hillary Clinton understands that some of the deepest and most pronounced poverty exists in rural areas of the country.
Vilsack touted Clintons support for a renewable fuel standard, which would increase the use of ethanol, of which Iowa is one of the nations leading producers.

(3,128 posts)We fought hard to keep Vilsack out of the Obama Administration, but Obama has a tendency not to listen to those work walked, phone-banked, and spent their own money to volunteer across the U.S. during the primary in 2008. I can't wait to see how fast he accumulates his first $200 million. I wonder if he can beat the Clintons.
Bless her heart. Hillary is following the Third Way, Neoliberal playbook to a "T."

He is in favor of alternative and renewable energy. I know some of this because we own a family farm there. We are working to provide an access road across our property for a wind farm project.
Vilsack is a good Democrat. I am glad he is endorsing Hillary.
I expect to see the Bernie supporters highlighting his negatives and throwing him under the bus. Count on it.
