It is neither funny nor clever. And it has nothing to do with Palin -- who did have some rotten things said about her by some obscure bloggers here and there. This Tea Party group, however, controls the Republican agenda. Think not, ask Bob Bennett of Utah, so there is a world of difference.

Obama made a great point last night when asked why his leadership ihas been so lacking, he said that the Republicans were actually for all the bills he sent through Congress, except that his bills had his name on them.

That Tea baggers and Republicans do not get how humor works.... When the best they have is Dennis Miller, one has to just shake their head and admit..it takes intelligence to create good humor, and they don't have an ounce of it.

The longer Barack Obama is President, the more overt these types of comments will become. I’m more surprised its take this long, because I’m really expecting racist to just come out and say what they really want to say in public. The “N”-word in a public forum is just a matter of time, and don’t be surprised when you hear what has already been said behind closed doors for centuries.

When the President is re-elected in 2012 expect the worst from these knuckle dragging troglydites.

It started right out of the gate!

He was Prez for only days and hadn't enacted anything and they were already carrying guns to rallies and had depictions of water mellons in front of the White House and a bone in Obama's nose. Hell they were complaining he wasn't even an American at the inauguration and hadn't done ANYTHING yet, but be (1/2)black.


And, just a minor point.... Sarah Palin is not PRESIDENT of the country these people are citizens of. She's an opportunist TV personality. Who cares what anyone says about her? She means nothing.

I wonder if they could get anymore American flags into the picture?

Better to have a lot of flags than to say the pledge with the wrong hand on your chest and an upside-down USA flag lapel pin.

The fact is the people that call themself Tea partiers,Birthers,Republican,,Christian conservative or tjhose on the right,seems a lot worse than the"Good ol boys" of the pre civil rights Jim Crow days.
I think it was good that Obama ran and won the election,because it brought out the worse slime in america that has been hiding under the surface for decades,what also s does it helps progressive Americans and the world,to see how much farther America has to go towards being a more tolerant,non racist democracy, as they claim to be to the world.
And on the other hand,with the Gestapo Type treatment and abuse of the OWS protesters,shows that America is NOT free as it claims to be in the world,and is moving towards the same kind of repressive sytem like the Tyranical despots we supported,in Egypt,Yemen,and other states to brutalize and oppress their own people,who we now see being kicked out and brought to justice in the middle east by their people fed up with the corruption and tyranny,and oppression

So the next time a Herman Cain like character asks why Black People always vote Democratic, it won’t look like they are brainwashed into do so; it will be just common sense.

Or use similar vitriol about him? Nah, I didn't think so, because he was as stupid and uninformed as they are and said what they wanted to hear.

Well, mildly at least. It's not imaginative enough to be extremely funny.

I have a very high tolerance with jokes. Go ahead, tell a joke directed at whites, men, atheists, Americans and geeks (all of which describe me), and I'll laugh if it's any good. I'm a bit overweight, so go ahead and make a fat joke if you'd like, I don't care. My ancestry includes Irish, American Indian and German, so those jokes are fair game too. Try as hard as you want, you can't offend me with a joke.

I go with the idea of the South Park creators -- if you draw a line with humor, then you're a hypocrite.

I'd be a hypocrite if I could laugh at a good Pope joke and be offended by atheist jokes.

If we restrict ourselves by everybody's lines, then humor dies because every joke is bound to offend some overly-sensitive clod lacking a sense of humor.

Other than that, I have nothing to add to this conversation.

They can't resist spreading this sort of message because it is all they have. It's sad.

I know I made nasty comments about Bush repeatedly during his time in office, but I was reacting to his very real evil policies, not simply picking on him because of his race, creed, or color.

This stuff makes me sick but also should embarrass us all because we know it is not even hidden in the larger communities we are all members of anymore. It is just so much more open since Obama was elected. Indicative of Americans race problems. They have never really gone away. Just swept into the river of denial.
