ISIS claims Texas attack via official radio station

Source: AFP

BEIRUT: ISIS claimed Tuesday its first attack on U.S. soil, a shooting at an anti-Muslim event in Texas over the weekend showcasing cartoons mocking the Prophet Mohammad.

"Two of the soldiers of the caliphate executed an attack on an art exhibit in Garland, Texas, and this exhibit was portraying negative pictures of the Prophet Mohammad," the jihadi group said.

"We tell America that what is coming will be even bigger and more bitter, and that you will see the soldiers of ISIS do terrible things," the group announced.

It was the first time ISIS claimed to have carried out an attack in the U.S.

I would think ISIS would not be quick to claim failure. Two armed men, attacking by surprise, and they both got put down after wounding an unarmed man. Their one victim was an unarmed school district security guard who had nothing to do with the contest.

people that if they could not make it to Iraq then they should pick a target - any target - in the country they live in. These two guys were part of that effort. They think they were successful because the hit the "any target" goal. Same with the attacks we see happening in Europe.

intend to use it as a tool to gin up the RW fundie extremists here and goad them into confrontations. Those TeaBagging militias there that night share the same RW fundie extremist mindset as ISS and WANT to have those confrontations.

They practically invited them.

ISIS could care less about Islam. They want to make it a holy war between Islam and the west but in all honesty it isn't about Islam for them.

They're just claiming responsibility to call attention to their twisted ideology. IMO, they had nothing to do with the Texas anti-Islamic shooting.

If you can't read into this bovine fecal matter, you need to stop watching mainstream media.
Of course they are going to take responsibility. Even though they had nothing to do with it.

Pam Geller is thrilled. Her hate event worked out better than her wildest dreams, or is this propaganda also part of her plan to stir up war and hate? For her it is almost too good to be true. I smell a rat.
