Jockey Victor Espinoza won his second consecutive Kentucky Derby and the third of his illustrious career Saturday at Chuchill Downs, as American Pharoah charged down the stretch from the outside to beat Firing Line and Dortmund.

4. I should never have bet against Espinoza

He deserves everything he's getting. Year before last he wasn't getting the premium mounts and he still rode his heart out. He's a great jockey. It was a good race. I've seen Dortmund and Danzig Moon but not Am. Pharoah before. Curious if he can pull it off.

This guy has sure made a load of $$$ off of race horses.

As for American Pharoah, it looked like a really good horse to me but ... he is no Secretariat best I can tell.
