Arab League agrees to create joint military force

Source: BBC

The heads of Arab League countries meeting in Egypt have agreed to create a joint Arab military force.

The League has been meeting in Sharm el-Sheikh amid a crisis in Yemen and the threat of jihadists who have made major gains in Iraq, Syria and Libya.

On the other hand, my first reaction is that it is about time they started fighting their own battles, instead of suckering the U.S. (i.e., Repuglican Presidents) into their squabbles.

On the other hand, the U.S. military-industrial-billionaires club will make probably even more money from a 'new' military joint force in the Middle East.
