Russia, US to Jointly Prepare Mars, Moon Flight Road Map – NASA

Source: Sputnik

Russia and the United States will work together on a roadmap to send humans to Mars and the Moon, according to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden.

The Russian Federal Space Agency Roscosmos and its US counterpart NASA will jointly hammer out a "road map" program on flights to Mars and the Moon, NASA Administrator Charles Bolden said on Saturday.

Bolden, who is currently on a tour of Russia's Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, added that he had discussed joint efforts to send missions to the Red Planet with Roscosmos head Igor Komarov, including time frames and funding.

"Our area of cooperation will be Mars. We are discussing how best to use the resources, the finance, we are setting time frames and distributing efforts in order to avoid duplication," Bolden said.

Since when?

The man's been working like a Slav, trying to prevent world war...and most of the world supports him in that quest.

The aggression is totally from the US neocon cabal in State Dept. Look it up. Try Victoria Nuland for starters.

...your post is a joke, right? Maybe you forgot the "sarcasm" emoticon. Sorry, but there are few good guys in the Ukranian crises and Putin and his merry band of thieves are certainly not among them.

Facts are always useful in an argument.

This article http://www.the-tls.co.uk/tls/public/article1514756.ece debunks the incendiary book by Karen Dawisha, which is a knife job if ever one was written, and could not be published in Britain due to the strong anti-libel laws in the UK.

facts hurt. You need to drop the propaganda and face the music. And lets not forget Putin's record on LGBT issues. Please!

Don't believe me, believe the Russians.

If you feel the need to view the entire world through one color of lens, and a pinhole, you will miss a lot, including the truck that runs you over....

And as for your source material, I love the first comment:

Sorry, but a rather disgraceful piece on Vladimir Putin. If anyone's interested, I can point to a half dozen inaccuracies or half-truths reported in this expose. My respect for PBS went down a peg.

....elements of Republican party actually think they can beat Russia in a war. Of course, in their sadistic minds, "winning" means we kill more of them. And they have the idea that "nuclear winter" is just for a few years....because Hiroshima and Nagasaki aren't nuclear wastelands.

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers.

alone get them back.

From what I read, the best bet so far would be to have a one-way mission to mars, sending modules first, astronauts next, then send supplies when needed. Although, after watching Interstellar, I can picture someone going crazy, a messing it up for everyone else stuck there.

And the same old crap goes on now about how nations must hate other nations because something, something and so of course the entire nation personified must be demons and killed, there is no reasonable alternative.....and now it is 2015.

The return on such cooperation would be much more valuable than the cost. Even and $200+ Billion.
