Penn State Frat Suspended Over Nude Photos Of Women In Facebook Group
Source: TPM
A Pennsylvania State University fraternity was suspended after police discovered that members were using Facebook to post nude photos of women, Pennsylvania television station WJAC reported on Monday.
WJAC obtained a copy of the search warrant, which claimed that several members of the fraternity were accused of taking photos of women while they were asleep or passed out and posting them to secret Facebook groups.
Members of the Kappa Delta Rho fraternity created a Facebook group called "Covert Business Transactions," according to WJAC. A victim allegedly found out about the group, and it was shut down. The frat then created a group called "2.0," according to the warrant.
State College police said that about 150 students and alumni joined the groups and that individuals had to be invited to join, according to WXPI.

(14,531 posts)was the outcome the FIRST time the page became known? What made these men think that it was ok to restart another page exactly like it? This is a university that covered up for a child rapist, so why wouldn't those men feel secure in posting nude photos of women, without their consent. It isn't just the frat. It is the systemic attitude towards women of being less than and therefor we can do what we want with them. 150 men were involved in this. Let that sink in. 150 men who have, or will have wives and children someday. Teaching them that doing things like this are not only ok, but necessary to retain their status. How many of those men defend using words like whores and bitches?
