Ted Nugent To Meet With Secret Service Thursday
Source: talkingpointsmemo.com
Mitt Romney endorser Ted Nugent will meet with the Secret Service Thursday as a followup to his incendiary comments at an NRA convention over the weekend. In an interview with Glenn Beck, Nugent again said the comments were not meant as a threat to anyone and said his political opponents were blowing the tirade out of proportion.
As for the Secret Service probe, Nugent said that he will be meeting with officials on Thursday.
We actually have heard from the Secret Service and they have a duty. I support them. I salute them. And I look forward to our meeting tomorrow, he said. Im sure well have a great conversation
bottom line is, Ive never threatened anybodys life in my life. Ive never threatened. I dont waste breath threatening.

(4,113 posts)I'm still amazed at how this geriatric punk can shoot his mouth off about other peoples' character while supporting violence on people who don't agree with him politically, when he crapped and pissed his pants to avoid the draft. Sounds pretty cowardly, if you ask me.

(52,205 posts)hey, it's just fun, or art, or politics, or something, to talk about violence directed at american liberals, american democrats, american presidents, etc.
to them, it merely shows how strongly they FEEL about something, it's not a statment of intent or an deliberate effort to incite actual violents.
of course, they're oblivious to the obvious impact or the way it gets interpreted by the targets of their hatred.
and OH, do they ever get it when the shoe is on the other foot! but it's ok when THEY do it....

His threat was obvious, if the repukes don't win they're gonna go to war with "liberals". He threatened ALL of us, I don't understand why people can't comprehend that, especially Ted himself.

Anyone can be permanently eliminated without trial if they are believed to be a threat to "National Security", or if they are an "enemy combatant", domestic or foreign. U.S. National - AP - Yahoo!
ST. LOUIS - An appeals court has upheld the three-year prison sentence of a man who suggested that President Bush (news - web sites) might be set ablaze during the president's March 2001 trip to Sioux Falls, S.D.
Richard Humphreys, 51, was convicted in 2002 of threatening to kill or harm the president. He appealed, arguing his comment was a prophecy protected under his right of free speech.
The 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals (news - web sites) on Monday upheld the sentence and ordered Humphreys, who the court found suffers from a bipolar disorder, serve his confinement in a federal medical center.
"Hopefully, medication over a significant period of years will result in his being able to live outside the prison confines, free of delusions and the type of behavior he exhibited here," the court ruled.
Humphreys said he got into a barroom discussion with a truck driver a day before Bush's visit. A bartender who overheard the conversation told police that Humphreys talked about a "burning Bush" and the possibility of someone setting Bush ablaze.
It might be a good thing for Nugent too. He sounds like he needs medication.

When he got his notice He didn't shower change his clothes or even go to the bathroom for a month. HE actually went in his pants. HE did that for 30 days than went to the draft board who basically told him he was crazy.
THIS story alone should show how crazy this guy REALLY is.

he had the teenager raise his kids while he stayed on the road to have sex with other groupies (The ones he claims apparently). I imagine everyone around him knows this stuff, it's common knowledge. He was on VH1 less than 10 years ago bragging about it. His exact quote about the teenager he was "ward" of when asked about it was, "Everyone should have a (her name here)." and then he grinned massively and laughed. The show basically glorified it like it was ok. Fucking sick then, still sick now.
